Lockdowel Router
Finds every panel-to-panel joint, counts fasteners by joint length, picks one slide direction per part and cuts the channels and pin bores into the panels. Edges a slide cannot lock get dowels.
Seven commands in the WOODWORK and KITCHEN panels. Model the cabinet as solids, named the way your shop names them, or let the Kitchen Builder build it. The woodworking module finds every joint, places the fasteners and hardware from its library, cuts the machining into the panels and writes what the saw, the bander, the CNC and the installer need.
The side with the most channels stands as the guide, and the back, base, shelf and top are set into its channels. The other side goes on as the lid, and everything is pushed its 32 mm into place. Signal derives this order from the model's own joints and prints it for the installer.

Kitchen Builder takes the room: straight, L, U or galley, the wall lengths, appliance spaces and countertop. It divides each wall into cabinets your shop can build, reuses the same side panels wherever the construction allows, and builds the kitchen in Fusion. Cabinet Fronts then adds doors, drawers and sink, and Island adds an island with its aisles checked. Try the division below.
The default above is a real test. In Fusion, a 3,000 mm wall became 7 cabinets of 4 types sharing 4 side parts, with 126 Lockdowel fasteners and 63 dowels, exactly what the cabinet templates call for.
As you choose each cabinet's front, Cabinet Fronts draws every door, drawer, handle and the sink on the cabinets in Fusion and keeps the front elevations open in a side panel. One click turns them into a PDF for the customer, one sheet per wall, before anything is cut.

Every fastener, hinge and drawer system in Signal comes from one library. Each entry carries its machining recipe, what travels with it and how it is bought, so the count in the model drives the CNC program, the buy-list and the quote at the same time.
| Hardware | Make | Machining recipe | Travels with it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Channel Lock E3259BM | Lockdowel | 2 routed slots, 64 + 32 mm · 2 bores Ø5 × 21 | Spring pins, 1 per fastener · router-bit life |
| Wood dowel 8 × 30 | Häfele | Ø8, 20 into the edge + 10 into the face | Placed on edges a slide cannot lock |
| CLIP top hinge | Blum | Ø35 cup + mounting plate, bored on the door and side | Count set by door size and weight |
| EXPANDO T hinge | Blum | For thin doors, no cup bored | Mounting plate |
| LEGRABOX · MOVENTO | Blum | Slide bores at their true position | One pair per drawer |
| Threaded insert | — | Ø8 × 13 bore | The screw it receives |
| French cleat | — | Wall fixings every 400 mm or less | Standard wall hanging |
Add your own hardware once, with its recipe, and every future design uses it.

Edge-to-edge joints like countertops, or an edge into a face: how many, the offset from each end, and which board takes the deep bore. The holes are cut, and a re-run replaces them.
Reads every panel into the cut list for the units you set: finished size, banded edges, every bore and channel, and a nest suggestion.
Machine code for the shop doing the work: band thickness and whether it comes off at the saw or the bander, the Lockdowel fit, saw patterns and drilling files. Production, sample or calibration order.
Straight, L, U or galley from the wall lengths, with appliance spaces and countertop. Cabinets are built as shells from shared standard parts, and the room is built with them.
Doors, drawers, a sink or an open front for each cabinet, with hinges, slides and sink from the hardware library. The cabinets are rebuilt to fit.
A single row with seating or back to back, its cabinets with a sink or a cooktop, and its countertop. Aisles and collisions with the runs are checked.
Nesting the cut list on the saw, the CNC or both is on the Nesting page.
Then the room. SITE surveys the installation, fits your cabinets to the walls as found and gives the crew their measuring sheet and install steps.
See SITESignal does not treat Lockdowel as a generic hardware line. The machining recipe, the joint rules and the assembly order are part of the engine, so a cabinet designed in Fusion comes out ready to route, ready to price and ready to assemble.
A fastener is half a joint. Every count Signal produces carries its mate, so the pins travel with the channels on every quote, order and buy-list.
