Quoting has never been so easy.

A quote is only as good as the quantities under it. Most shops estimate them from experience, a takeoff by hand or a supplier's guess, and the margin disappears in the gap. Signal measures them: from the model in the office, and from the customer's own room on site. The price follows in minutes, from the same numbers the shop will build with.

In the office · Summary

Every quantity, measured from the model.

Summary reads the last export and shows what one model needs on one screen: pieces, material to buy, laser by material and gauge, tube cutting, bending, rolling, welding and finishing. Nothing is estimated and nothing is retyped. One button writes the same numbers as a PDF for your supplier, in the supplier's language, and as a file Signal prices with your rates.

Tube Frame · from its summary
Pieces151
Sheet laser78.7 m of cut
Tube laser50.4 m of cut
Welding1,338.0 in
Area to coat9.53 m²
Weight266.7 kg

Laser is split by material and gauge because that is how a laser shop prices it. Your rates never live in Fusion: the export carries quantities, and Signal turns them into a price.

Quoting a project of several models? Plan multiplies each summary by the units the project builds.

On site · Signal Sales

A kitchen estimate on the customer's own room.

Signal Sales is the sales mode of the Signal iPhone app. The room is the one the customer or the crew just measured. Tap a wall and it fills with cabinets using the same rules as the kitchen generator in Signal for Fusion; change a wall and the cabinets refill. Pick the colours, the fronts, the countertop, the appliances and the sink, show the customer the elevation, the 3D and the room in AR, and hand over the estimate before you leave.

Same rules

Never retyped

The cabinet rules come from Signal for Fusion, so what sales shows is what the shop can build.

Same price

To the cent

The phone's estimate matches the office estimator exactly: MXN 18,821.64 for a 4.0 × 2.6 m L kitchen, on both.

The real room

Walls, doors, windows

Cabinets fit around doors, windows and columns, and refill when a wall's length changes.

Honest

What is still pending

The estimate says what it covers and what waits for the survey: installation, and anything outside the rate card.

Why it is easy

One set of numbers, from the quote to the floor.

The quote, the supplier's order and the shop's work order come from the same quantities, so the margin you quoted is the margin you keep.

Measured

Not estimated

Cut length, bends, weld inches, coated area and board count, read from the model.

Minutes

Not days

A kitchen priced in front of the customer; a metal job priced as soon as it is exported.

Shared

The same for everyone

Sales, suppliers and the shop see the same numbers, in their own language.

Traceable

Every price has a source

Each figure goes back to the part, the room and the rate it came from.
